How do I set up my stand-up banner?
Follow these 4 easy steps to get set up:
1. CASE: Open your carrying case and remove the the cassette and pole.
2. CASSETTE: Set your cassette on the ground. Turn the stabilizing foot/feet perpendicular to the cassette.
3. POLE: Connect the pole pieces and then insert into the hole in the cassette.
4. BANNER: Using both hands, pull the top of the banner from the cassette and attach it to the top of the pole.
Do you have any other helpful tips for assembling your roll up banners?
Here are a few other tips to know before you get started:
- Don’t try to pull the banner above the height of the pole. Doing so may damage the retracting mechanism.
- Be careful with the edges and make sure they’re not caught up in the cassette, which could fray or scratch your design.
- When connecting the pole pieces for the standard cassette, find the round part inside the hole and stick the pole into it to make sure the banner stands straight.
What’s the difference between banner types – vinyl, fabric, mesh and retractable banners?
The biggest difference between these banners is the material used and the display options.
Retractable Banners: This style includes a vinyl banner that comes preassembled with a stand and case. Multiple styles and sizes available.
Mesh Banners: Made of woven polyester mesh, these banners are best for outdoor and windy conditions, with included grommets and reinforced edges.
Fabric Banners: Made of 100% recyclable, scratch-resistant polyester with included grommets. Great for indoor and outdoor use.
Vinyl Banners: Our most popular banner. Your choice of indoor (13 oz.) or outdoor (18 oz.) vinyl, both of which are fade- and water-resistant.

How can I design an effective pop-up banner?
Follow these tips to make sure your design is clear, legible and effective:
- Use large fonts and images so people can see your text from a distance
- Contrast your background and text colors to ensure clear readability
- Focus on one main message that people can quickly understand

Will my banner come with grommets included? How many grommets do I need?
No, but grommets are highly recommended for a secure, reinforced hold whether you’re using rope, zip ties or a stand. Review this chart for the number of grommets needed for each banner size.

What are reinforced edges?
Our heat-welding process reinforces the edges of your banner, making it better suited for outdoor and long-term use. We recommend both edges reinforcement and grommets if you’re hanging your banner outside for a long time.
What type of banner stands do you offer?
We recommend our retractable banners if you’re looking to use a stand. They come preassembled with a banner, stand and case for a quick and easy set up.
Can I order a custom banner size?
Yes, you can. This has been a popular request from our customers and we’re proud to now offer it. Visit our custom size banner page to learn more.
If I see wrinkles on my banner, how do I remove them?
Wrinkles should smooth out over time. But if you need to speed up the process, place your vinyl banner under a heavy flat object to get the wrinkles out. To avoid creasing while storing, don’t put anything on top of the banner. We also recommend washing your hands every time you handle the banner.
Will my banner be fireproof?
Yes. All of our vinyl banners are NFPA-701 certified.
How strong are the PVC-free banners?
These banners are weather water-resistant and as durable as vinyl banners. Here are some technical details about the material’s durability:
- Tensile strength (how much stress the material can support without breaking): 617/551 lb./5 “
- Tear resistance (how much stress the material can support without tearing): 66/72 lb.
- Temperature resistance: -40°F to 194 °F
Are PVC-free banners washable?
These banners are NOT machine washable. Spot cleaning with water and gentle soap is fine. We recommend not using alcohol-based products when cleaning.
What sign is best for long-term outdoor use?
It depends on what you’re looking for. Banners are our most popular and versatile option and will last for 2-5years,depending on weather conditions and sun exposure. Our flags are also a good option for outdoor use if you have some floor space.
What resolution and file type should I use when uploading my design?
We recommend uploading your design as a .pdf with at least a 150 dpi resolution for the highest quality sign printing.
Do you offer custom sign sizes for my business?
Custom sizes are now available for our vinyl banners . We will offer a wide range of sizes for our other signage very soon, so there’s a very good chance that we have something that’ll suit your needs.
